This film lives online and can be shared with distant friends and next generations and preserved in customised QR code memorial.

With more than 20 years of experience in storytelling, we use our knowledge to create the best possible narrative for your loved one's life story and are experts in bringing their imagery to life.

    Unlike traditional memorials, we also provide a personalised webpage and physical and digital QR codes that make it easy to access and share these stories with family and friends.

  • We’re committed to host all remembrance pages indefinitely. We understand the importance of preserving the memory of our loved ones and ensuring that their stories are honoured and remembered for generations to come.

  • Our website is hosted and managed by Squarespace, so are automatically protected by SSL certificates to improve security, and prevent hackers from stealing information that customers submit.

Process

  • That’s up to you, but as a general rule you should try and link the story to the imagery you have. We help you write their story by breaking it down into chapters. These can be linear milestones in their life, anecdotes, achievements and personal stories, whatever you want. That said we feel anecdotes and personality traits can often reveal more about a person's character and impact than just listing their accomplishments or basic biographical information.

    These chapters can be heart-warming, humorous, inspiring, or reflective, and they help to paint a vivid picture of the person being memorialised in the film.

  • This depends on which package you select and how much of a story you want to tell and how many chapters are included. Based on a short film of 4 – 8 minutes this ranges from 60 – 80 images

    In addition to the chapter photos, it’s recommended to add a main photograph, which could be a standout image that represents the person or captures their essence. This main photograph holds significance as it will be prominently displayed on the remembrance page and open the video.

  • The Lasting Legacy Memorial web page contains your loved ones title, sub title, lead image and embedded memorial film. You can see some examples of how it would look here

  • Currently, it is not possible for other people to leave messages on the remembrance page.

  • Absolutely. Once the film is finished, we'll send you a special link for your approval. You can make changes or adjustments using this link. The number of times you can make changes depends on the package you choose.

  • The time it takes to create your film is typically 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the package you choose. As for the QR code plaques, it usually takes up to 10 working days. So, since we can work on making the film and the memorial plaque at the same time, we aim to have everything, including the QR Code plaque, ready within three weeks. If you opt for a premium package, it might even be sooner.

    Please remember that the processing time we mentioned here is for completing your order and getting it ready for delivery. The actual time it takes for your order to arrive depends on several factors, like the package you choose, the amount of media content involved, any revisions you may request, and where your order is being shipped to. Once your plaques are prepared and shipped, we'll send you a confirmation along with tracking information.

  • Yes, we do ship internationally. The shipping fee may vary depending on your location.

QR codes

  • The QR code is laser inscribed onto the aluminium or granite (depending on the package you select) and has been specially selected as the best outdoor rated products in this field so should last as long as the headstone does.

  • The QR Code can be attached to any flat, solid surface like a bench, headstone or wall.

    If a headstone is already in place, you can attach the QR Code yourself, but we recommend seeking advice from your local headstone maker. They can suggest the best adhesive or fixings to use.

  • All of our QR Code memorials are durable enough to weather exterior usage. Both the Granite Memorial Stone and the Anodised Aluminium plaque are outdoor rated products. They are highly resilient and durable, able to withstand environmental conditions without corroding or tarnishing.

    Consider the desired aesthetic, durability, and maintenance requirements to make an informed decision that aligns with your needs and preferences.
